About SuttleImages.Com
Artist Statement of Todd Suttles
I love to discover the Divine Harmony hidden in the apparent chaos of this world. Working as a hair colorist/stylist I strove to create styles for my clients that expressed the harmony and unique essence of each individual. I am intrigued by the contradictions of Truth & Illusion, Perception & Projection.
I like to create images that present the viewer an opportunity to observe the chaos of life while simultaneously presenting a choice to recognize the inherent harmony; be it called beauty, the spiritual or natural order.
Because I desire my images to resonate with “perceived truth” I prefer they originate from a single photograph, preferably not cropped. I do take advantage of digital technology to enhance an image to convey its meaning; much the way I manipulated film images in the darkroom. I believe everything begins with a well executed photograph, taken purposefully at the point of creation.

In 2008 Todd began to downsize his responsibilities as a large salon owner with dreams of semi-retirement and the ability to pursue the creation of his art photography. He now owns Todd Suttles Salon and Gallery in prestigious Buckhead where he works exclusively with only his own clients and his art.
